What a cashmere blend contains

A throw described as cashmere may be made entirely from cashmere, but many beautiful cashmere throws are blends, and the composition shapes the feel, the structure, the durability and the price of the finished piece.

Cashmere or alpaca?

The two offer different kinds of softness. Cashmere is known for an exceptionally fine, airy and delicate hand, while baby alpaca tends to feel smooth, silky and slightly more substantial, with a little more weight to its drape. Size and care

At 55 by 78 inches these throws cover two people on a sofa or lie across the foot of a queen bed. They are dry clean only; if light pressing is ever necessary, use the wool setting on your iron with gentle steam.
